The first communication between Knowle Hill Primary and Bridge Eco Classrooms was made to discuss the schools potential Eco Classroom. Following this discussion a site survey was arranged for our Sales Director Paul Charnley to visit and meet with the head teacher.
The potential classroom was to provide additional learning facilities to the school which would enable the children to learn in a bright and new environment.
Our sales director provided the school with a quotation for their ideal eco classroom, and fortunate for Bridge Eco Classrooms, the quotation was accepted with works due to within 8 weeks from the order.
Our materials and site works were planned with manufacturing of the materials organised
Bridge Eco Classroom stood by their words, and produced a stunning Eco Classroom as promised and on time.
The Eco classroom was manufactured using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) to conform to building regulations; 125mm were used in the floor and walls, with 175mm SIP panels in the roof.
Externally the structure was clad with Western Red Cedar, which is virtually maintenance free to the school.
Aluminium double doors to the front elevation were supplied and fitted along with UPVC anthracite grey fixed and opening windows to match.
Internally the classroom was finished with plasterboard and skim to all walls and ceiling.
Commercial graded laminate flooring was laid to the internal along with skirting board to suit.
Our electrical package consisted of down lights to provide plenty of light, power sockets and consumer unit.
The internal structure consisted of 2 classrooms a lobby area and mixed toilets, which one of those was accessible to disabled users.
A stunning structure and we would like to wish Knowle Hill plenty of luck for the future.
