In order to ensure our eco-friendly classrooms are habitable and comfortable all year round, we construct each one using heavy duty structural grade timber, structurally insulated panels (SIPS), the highest quality exterior cladding and double glazing. This is relevant to all classrooms regardless of bespoke or modular planning.
As a company Bridge Timber is fully committed to protecting the environment. We only use timber which is independently certified, which ensure it is obtained from responsibly managed and sustainable forests. All our classrooms have undergone a comprehensive energy and thermal assessment to maximise energy efficiency and thermal insulation, and minimise any impact on the environment.
Our design service is totally bespoke, with each classroom designed to suit your own personal requirements and ideas. As standard, each classroom comes fully installed with all lighting, power sockets and heating as well as plasterboarded walls, skimmed and painted to your desired colour. The number, type and position of doors and windows are all planned and constructed to suit your specific requirements.
Our design team will be happy to discuss any further requirements you may have – this may include the fitting of internal partitions, external canopies, timber decking, suspended ceilings or the installation of a WC or shower. Paul and his team (office and field) were a pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the entire build, which was completed to a very high standard. The company remained professional throughout the process, from planning permission to final completion. I couldn’t be more happy with this versatile space which serves as a drama studio, dance room and exam hall. When we decided to get a garden room built we could have picked any of about a dozen good companies. However, we chose Bridge Timber Products because whenever we called them with questions, the phone was always answered by a cheerful and knowledge person who would answer our queries immediately, and clearly. There was no having to talk to answer machines, waiting for call-backs from sales persons, or fluffy meaningless waffle.
When it came to having the garden room built, the team were brilliant. They were all very polite and each was an obvious craftsman at their job. They listened to all our wishes and carried out each, meeting and frequently exceeding our expectations.During the two weeks that they were on-site, Bridge Timber turned the crude line drawing that we presented them into the most amazing garden room which is a pleasure to spend time in. I am so pleased with my studio. I think it looks splendid in the space and enhances the garden.
